Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of The Laundry. As Adreanna wrote last week, it’s been an honor to connect with you week over week 50+ times already and we want to be able to, as my friends in the corporate world say, 10x it— keep this going for the next decade or longer.

In order for us to clear the time to write for you every week, we take on childcare and turn down other work and that is one of the many reasons we are so grateful to our paid subscribers: you really do make this entire thing possible.

How do you get access to all this goodness? For existent monthly and annual subscribers, you’re already entered into the raffle. For free subscribers, you just have to sign up for either our annual or Founding subscriptions and you are all set.

When you become a paid subscriber you gain access to double the posts; instead of 2 a month you get 4-5 (depending on how many Fridays there are). You can also listen to us read the posts as audio essays. Readers have commented that they really like Adreanna’s reading voice, so there’s that. No one has commented about that for me, but that’s okay.
