Hello dear friends,

Just a housekeeping note from the two of us, as it's been six months of doing The Laundry with you and we recently received some good questions.

The first question was, "What's the difference between free and paid subscriptions?"

These are the two tiers of subscriptions that are offered on Substack. 

Free subscribers receive weekly emails from us but only have full access to the first two posts each month.

Paid subscribers receive full access to all of our posts each and every Friday, as well as audio versions of them (in case you prefer we tell you a story instead of reading it). The paid version is $5/month or $50/year.

We appreciate both types of readers, truly. The paid subscribers are the patron support we need in order to make The Laundry run, as it does take time (and childcare) for us to produce high quality writing for you week over…
